Circular 5, Term 2, 2019 End Of Term

Wednesday, 7 August, 2019

Dear Parents

Can you believe that we have made it to the end of one of the longest terms ever, in one piece – or nearly in one piece!

Well done to you all for managing to cope with the current hardships of Zimbabwe as well as possible. It is still a great country and we need to play our part in making it work.

I can’t believe that I have now done my first term at Twin Rivers and have really enjoyed it. A big thank you to you all for your support of me and of course your lovely school.

Congratulations to all your children for their achievements in so many endeavours over the term and we look forward to ending the year positively next term.

Reports
Reports will be sent home with your children tomorrow (Thursday) so for all of you who were thinking of having your child bunk school you will need to collect them from the office either on Friday or when school next opens.

Clearance Certificates for Term 2 will be in the envelopes for those whose debts are clear. For others, you won’t be able to process your class pass for Term 3 until you have the Term 2 clearance certificate.

Break-up times Thursday 8 August
I would like to stagger the pick-up times for tomorrow to avoid as much traffic congestion as possible. The following will be the new times:

Grades 0, 1, 2, 3 & 410.00am
Grades 5, 6 & 710.30am

Please note that there will be no formal supervision after 11.30am so please ensure that your child has been collected by then at the latest.

It only remains for me to wish you all a safe and happy holiday and I look forward to seeing your children back at school next term.

Yours sincerely
M. N. MACKENZIE
